And the mother????? It is more important than the male.

by gsilas on 02 June 2022 - 17:06

@bladeedge Thank you. It happens, especially when you have thy many offspring.

Gsilas It does indeed . can't all be super star's 😉.txarkoeta the post was asking about blendy it doesn't matter who the bitch was in not here to run any dogs down. The person on the other hand didn't do her job when raising the pup I'd say was main fault with certain things .at the end of the day because if certain things I could not trust the dog to be reliable .

Weak nerves can be hereditary. That was my experience with the one weak-nerved dog I had. Both the dog and bitch were fine, but other people with close relatives also had issues with nerves.

I got the pup at 8 weeks old, and met it numerous times between birth and 8 weeks, and knew it was raised right. And it certainly wasn't anything I did to cause it.

Sun it definitely can be inherited. When sometimes you see a dog you can tell it's not the usual sign she was go with people not reactive super hard grips .there cwas other stuff she shows that just made her weak and less dependable. I think if she was raised correct she may have been ok and found it easier to come through some stuff .she is now with a family and is doing agility and is doing quite well

bladeedge, the user asked about Bordi Blendy and you said that you had a Bordi dog with weak nerves, I meant that those weak nerves may have been inherited from his mother and not from Bordi. I am from the Basque Country, northern Spain, I have a daughter of Gringo JaNaKa and she is insecure, I know more dogs with this problem, Gringo is not insecure but he transmits insecurity to most.

I think that for a good mother dog and even more her maternal grandmother have to be good. Normally we always give more importance to the male and for me the mother is more important

Yes I agree the mother is vital to what will come out of the pup's.i just didn't name her because I don't believe that was the problem .I also said what I hear about blendy is normally good things .with my pup I believe it had a lot to do with environment and lazy owner .
