Was wondering if there was anyone in southern CA who sells/makes/whatever something similar to the "modular" type kennels? I have been looking to re-build my kennels now that I'm finally happy with where they're at (in relation to the rest of the property). Its on a very small scale though, and I would rather do the work myself. Just need the materials. I need non-edible kennel walls (lol) and the solid wall partitions in between the runs. If anyone knows someone who could point me in the right direction, please email me at emtbstephanie@yahoo.com - email preferred in case the site goes down again ;) Thanks

I swear by Mason fence,It is a little more then a lot of the others but it will last FOR EVER.Many different styles and they will custom make pretty much anything you need. They do have the stainless steel dividers and if I recall correctly you can have a number of different heights. www.masonco.com the are located in Leesburg Ohio I think. You will never have to replace it due to rust or dogs chewing thrugh it.

Try Billet Barn, in Lancaster. If they don't have it already designed, they can do it for you. Many of the local kennels in Southern California have been built by them. They have a website.

Stephanie, Are the runs you are talking about indoor or out? I have $40,000 worth of Mason Kennels in my indoor facility. I got the FRP walls and the normal chain link. The FRP divider panels canNOT be used outside. You would have to use metal as the FRP and other like materials will NOT hold up to UV light exposure and the elements. Whatever you do, do NOT get their guillotine doors to make runs that open up back to back. They are a rip off and mean that you NEVER can seal between runs back to back without major modifications. In other words, if you do not want drainage between runs, be sure not to get this option. Also, I have leakage between runs because the silicone they supplied to seal the panels to the concrete is not worth a damn. I spent hours on the phone with their people specifiying exactly what I wanted and how it had to work, sent construction plans etc., and have had a lot of problems. Their follow-up and customer service once they got my money has been poor in my opinion. I might be able to make additional suggestions once I know where the runs are going.

If one buys 1.25 inch mesh, special order chain link, of heavy gage, the dogs can not get their teeth on it and with proper securing to heavy duty schedule pipe, can not tear it up. Check chain link fence companies and ask to see what they can get. This mesh is not the standard two inch, flaky strength mesh most people buy because it is cheap. The stuff I am talking about is very expensive, but will last a lifetime. I have some very destructive dogs here off and on and have yet to have a kennel torn up. If there are any edges to the FRP however, they can and will get that torn up. Good luck.

I got mine thru Optionsplus.com I have the platinum series. There will be no chewing on these. They do offer isolation panels as well. They do free shipping unless to residential then it's $50.00 I got the 4 run series. Very sturdy. 6 gauge welded steel. They sometimes list these on ebay as well. Off website they were $1700, ebay $1500 approx.
