hey Charlie this was the post: I can try get them for you and no, I wont accept anything above the cost of your merchandise and mailing costs. I appreciate your friendship and information I go that way to Cabelas frequently its no problem. Could you supply any other info on them or the blankets for me you have my email addy still? I would be happy to pick them up and mail them out to you. Who knows i may love them and pick a couple up for myself i love to use wool blankets instead of batting inside my handmade quilts. Just bought a three hundred year old stone home need to make some new quilts lol. Im willing to go scout it out even if you dont have further info. Oh boy that fish was so moist and flaky pure white soaked the salt out just right and still had enough to put fifteen pounds of filet in freezer. Sunny I wish you all the best on Bo when you know an animal needs you it can tear you up inside not being able to help. i also agree e collars are great as long as the user knows how and respects the ways it should be done have seen them abused by folks who had no business strapping it to a dog wish could have used it on them.

I only needed to use the e-collar on Blitz two times on the lowest setting, he hasn't worn it for over a year now and still comes immediatley when he's called. I did have to laugh at him, for months after he first wore it all I had to do was point the TV remote in his direction and in a split second he turned from Mr Hyde back to Dr.Jekyll LOL. I took me a few minutes to figure out why he was behaving so well as I was changing stations on the TV. He's wise to it now, darn it. You are right, there are no directions even though the company provides a video they say explains its use. The video they sent with the e collar I bought was a basic OB lesson and when I called and asked if they sent the wrong one, they said they were working on it and I should just use the collar instead of the leash correction.. Duh....I just assumed anyone reading this board would have enough experience to know how to use it. I do know of 2 people who have purchased one for their dogs who should not have. One thought he would teach the dog to stay in the yard without it's learning what "come" meant. I tried to explain that the collar is not a teaching tool, it is intended to correct and should only be used after the dog is fully trained to the command. Care to guess what happened the first time the dog headed down the street and took a shock? Yep, he kept going even faster. A relative purchased one to "teach" her lab to not steal food off the counter. Never mind she never saw it happen, just missed the food after the deed was done. I think I wasted more breath on that one too. People think a well trained dog is born that way and they are always looking for the easy way. I think most pet owners see an e-collar as a quick fix. I could never recommend them to a novice who has no training experience, but for those who have, from my limited experience I think they have merit and they don't have to be cranked up on the highest setting. The idea is to give the dog a quick correction, not to nuke him like a stuffed turkey LOL.
