I feel quite flustered and embarrassed asking for help, but my little girl Cece needs surgery and I can't afford it.   As some of you know, I moved in with my dad a few years ago when he began having health problems.  I am still taking care of my father at home, we are living only on his fixed income and lately we have been hit hard by what's left of his medical bills that medicare didn't cover (he recently spent 2 months in the hospital and rehab.)
Cece is our 7 yr old chihuahua mix, she is an incredible sweetheart who is one of the kindest creatures you could ever meet, she very much literally wouldn't hurt a fly.  Two years ago she started losing her vision and is now 100% blind in both eyes.  She has adapted incredibly well to blindness, she still runs, jumps and plays as joyfully as ever.
Recently one of her eyes swelled up, very inflamed and painful.  The veterinarian said it was either glaucoma or infection, but either way the best treatment would be to have the eye removed.  I could not afford the tests to see which problem it was, but I did get pain meds and antibiotics for her.  I believe that it is an infection because the medicine seems to have had a positive impact on her condition, but her eye is still somewhat swollen and has a very ugly red/yellow discolored look.
The estimate from Cece's vet to have the eye surgically removed is $1,091.00.   I simply am unable to afford this right now, even in payments.  If anyone can help I would be incredibly grateful.
I set up a fund for Cece on youcaring.com  http://www.youcaring.com/pet-expenses/cece-needs-surgery-please-read-/144926   Cece's vet's office also have an account for her (Cece Fletcher) that they can accept donations for on the phone.  Dr. Dan Bishop is her vet at My Vet Animal Hospital  614-600-5620
Thank you to everyone,  I know some are unable to help financially (as I have been unable to for others here.)  but your prayers are welcomed every bit as much too.

Thank you wonderful ladies!  Cece's fund is already over 20% towards the goal!  Teeth Smile  I will be calling the vet's office to let them know.

Someone donated $100 towards Cece's fund in person, so I have adjusted the fundraising goal to reflect that (it's now set at $1,000 instead of $1,100)   So over 30% of the way there!  The sooner we reach the goal, the sooner she can have her surgery  :)

Also,  I was thinking today perhaps there is something I can offer to those who donate, I have a novice hand at sketching and watercolor painting, but it is something I like to do and I started doing it a couple of months ago after a decade+ hiatus.   I pretty much only do dogs, cats, flowers and trees so far.  I have never sold any kind of art before nor taken any request before, but I'm willing to try my hand at it if you're willing to accept it's beginner quality, lol.    I have mailed some of my art before, which costs me about $3-$5 shipping depending on the envelope, so factor that in plus a little bit for materials.    Let me know if you are interested?   I'm attaching a few pics of what I've done recently.
