Please remove-"GSD selling top revenue earner?" - Page 1

Would someone in charge please remove this from the forum.I think I speak for a lot of ethical people who love dogs when I say this is a really sad case.Someone wnats to know what the turnove is on selling GSDs.Come on people, get a job if you want to make money instead of ruining dogs lives and the lives of people who will buy them.

I totally agree with you, it seems that with some people it's only about how much they can make out of a dog, it's no longer about the breed itself and the sport and indeed with these kind of stupid question and remarks they take make life sour for honest people.

I don't agree If all the stupid questions were removed from this board it wouldn't exist. It wasn't an offensive question, a bit naive maybe. The person isn't posting endless adverts and messages about pakistan it was an innocent question. The thread seems to have had a natural death with the person who started it saying thanks. Why do you want this removed? I think everybody is intitled to their own topics. And their are a lot of people that do love the breed that do training, studing and raise pups for a job. I have a lot of freinds that is all they do and that is food on the table. Does that mean that it is wrong or their dogs are not treated well or abused? NO!! and it does not mean that they do not love the dog, it is their job. We are a small family owned kennel and we do the Schutzhund sport, we have pups, because we love to watch the pups grow, the pups are a great joy to us. No, we do not do it for the money because we do not make money with our dog business. We spend more than we make. We both have other jobs. But I do think that there are a lot of people that do it for the love of the breed. And if anybody does it for the money they will find out that there is NO money in this business. In germany the dog business is like football over here. It is a big sport, but the outcome is still the same there as it is here, you know some people just love the shepherds. And I see nothing wrong by having a business with raising dogs and selling pups!!!!! What needs to be stopped are the puppy mills. Sandra

this post allows those who think to make money on it to learn that it is not the case so why remove it? this thread started off with a bad uneducated question of someone seeking to make money on these lovely dogs but everyone has pointed out and shown the truth for all to read why remove it away from others so they do not see why it does not work like that? the only reason to remove it is to fuel the belief of making tons of money off the flesh of the gsd which can only be done with improper care and ethics to the very dogs we love. From the first day I began with dogs number one rule: If you are making money from the dogs you are lacking somwhere in your care, breeding, and or training / showing!

There were some great points made on why that was false information. I think this is a good post to keep as it educated probably many more people then just the one asking the question.

I appologize if I have ofended someone, when I said that i totally agreed with mseebran, I should have clearly said that I agree with the fact that it was a sad case someone wanting to know what the turnover on selling GSD was and not about removing the article.

remove it, the breed don't need any more breeders like this, we have so many of them already, so please remove it!!!
