CCW - Carry a Concealed Weapon, reciprocity means if you have a valid license in one state, it is honored in others such as between Michigan and Florida, which is a good thing since my legal address (permanent address) is in Michigan but I am currently living in a rental home in Florida 9-11 months a year due to school. Woohoo, I just called the place my son and I want to take the course through and they dropped the price considerably and they include a "shoot/don't shoot" portion. This place is very thorough. Now to get a weekend free to take it......

I would guess that you'd have to apply in the state you (legally) reside in.
