Hi Erin,
If they don't allow it then they don't need your business plain and simple.
Indiana prefers you conceal your weapon but an open holster is permitted, it's not as safe as conceal though for several reasons.
Loaded long guns in vehicles is not permitted.
I too keep something under my seat for a rainy day.

Unless someone knows different, I believe Florida allows unconcealed, open carry of a baton.

I dunno Mindhunt, each state does have a little different take on batons and things like throwing stars, other marshal arts type weapons.
Some states regulate pepper spray and tasers (stunguns) too.

Well Moons, saving up for a CCW class, the price has skyrocketed ever since Gun Control is back on the table. I guess I will find out then what is legal in Florida and the nice thing is, there is CCW reciprocity between Florida and Michigan.

What does CCW stand for?
Also, reciprocity?

Let me guess....!
Conceal Carry Weapon...?
Conceal Carry Weapon...?

That's not quite the answer to what I was asking...or much of anything else....
I assume it has to do with a permit, and what states honor another's permit.
Curious about abreviations.
