Bee,
I actually agree with most of your post. No I haven't been drinking.
I think it goes beyond stopping the finger pointing at any one group, it requires accepting a difference in values and opinion. I do pick on Christianity frequently, but my views on religion apply to all faiths and even to special interest groups. I think it would be much easier for all of us to get along if we went about our daily lives with a common set of principles that includes respecting the choices of others. Damn that sounded like a Bob Marley song.

Bee,
I know how badly you seek a give and take conversation, and I can appreciate that, it's a door that swings both ways.
As for my view's on curing what's wrong with the planet, you've never offered yours, or did you?
You know, we are all the same, and that's what would make my cure work in the end.
The simple things that really matter, would remain.
Your right about some people being dangerous.
Moons.

Yes, I did. I am not interested in too much what you have to say. You are invested in the pyre. Good Night Moons.

Although that shipped sailed with Pope Gregory and his crusades, at this point, it wouldn't matter. They are the most solid foothold in the middle east, in addition to the influence wielded by a great number of extremely wealthy secular Jewish Americans who will always back that state.Do honestly think Americans would give a rats ass about Israel if they didn't believe it was the "holy land"?

Carlin,
It does matter, Jerusalem is an important city in both Christian and Muslim prophecy is it not? Do you think the US government would have funded Israel's war machine to the tune of $115 billion dollars if it wasn't?

Of course it matters, but much less so in terms of religion for the US. Global security and oil proliferation trump everything else. Now, on the other side, the muslim states are actually some of the few places where policy is directly connected to religion, ie. the Islamic theocracy.
