more accurately, low class backyard breeders that dabble in training ie whipping a dog to make it look vicious just before a potential buyer arrives to look at ppd dogs. hey it's all good now, i have got a small crew together that are committed to learning, training and improving. all ethical nice people that are educated and dedicated. only prob is we are hundreds of miles apart and don't get together regularly. we have rotts, mals, gsd, neo's and an upcoming ds. i also got a new business partner that has a rott, he is close by and looks like we have already started trading decoy work.
none of this is ideal i know but the best in the circumstances.
yah need a license for a baton and a good reason to use it. don't need a license for my big ass mag-lite tho.
not sure what this means;
"I asked you if you needed one for any other device"

You never read back at older posts....lol
Pretty common device here would be a three foot length of inch and a half closet round...it's a piece of pine....standard union enforcers equipment.
Safe but effective as one put it, head busters.
The Baton is concealable, and some states here do have regulations regarding them, some don't.

oh, we call that dowel, closet round, strange but assume it means round timber for making closets??
the license is really for ensuring you know the legal implications, ROE, escalation of force etc...i have already done that when getting the k9 handler, crowd controllers and Sec Guard licenses anyway. each license has a fee so someone does well out of it.

So talking about needing licenses, for some reason just made me think of this, I keep seeing all these stickers on doors of businesses in my town, allowing or not allowing open carry.. Guess Alabama passed an open carry law.. Been seeing a lot more folks walking around with their hand guns in town.. No batons here in Hillbilly Land!! LoL.. Shit, I can't say anything I always have my old ass lever action Henry 22 in my truck.. haha..
