you've managed to add guns to the topic....
No matter what your opinion is (pro or con) you don't have the right to inflict it upon another.
That's why there is law in place to protect a womans rights, same as separation of church and state, keeps the holy rollers out of the lives of regular people.
It's simply none of your business.

Price tag on the sanctity of life; count me out. I don't think the position of pro-life has anything to do with "wanting" more unwanted children. We're not talking apples to apples here. Without checking, I'm quite sure the number of abortions due to rape are completely insignificant beside the abortions of inconvenience. The failure, is one of lack of responsibility. The idea that unwanted pregnancy (prevalent as it is) is a foregone conclusion in society, is a defeatist attitude, which essentially diminishes us to little more than animals. While I agree with a safety net, the proper role of government does not include functioning as an enabler of either unwanted children or abortion. Why don't the pro-lifers put up or shut up? They bitch about government having to pay for medical costs and everything else and then they turn around and want more unwanted children to raise.

You could live in a country that dictates birth control and abortions.
World over population is a serious problem now and many governments are looking for answers, some involve genicide.
You can't even rehome unwanted pets, much less children.
