Two Moons

by Two Moons on 21 April 2013 - 14:04

I think the word itself (hate) is misunderstood.
And the term (evil), also misunderstood.

moons - "best"?   Didn't think you'd appreciate, or benefit from the compete line of thinking.  If you'd prefer, I can pm you a sonnet. As joanro stated, since people have free will, the state they inhabit is fluid.  My own personal experiences give me reason to hope; evidently, yours do not.  Expectation is a different matter entirely.  I'd like to be more positive, and less of a realist; you seem content in your apathy.  In either case, it's a matter of perspective.

The brothers...

There is no excuse for the cowardice that is terrorism, however, it's easy for a lazy American public to buy into simple explanations of radical Islamic ideology.

Please don't pm me,
I don't think I could take the strain.

Perspective,
that's the only thing you've said that made any sense at all.

What is it you think I should have hope for?
What is your complete line of thinking?

You might try a little reality, see if it corresponds with your hopes.

Terrorism is a tool, a method, it is not new, it has a purpose, it can be abused, it is not always a cowardly act.

I haven't bought into anything as of yet, least of all islamist extremist, but I am me and not the general public.

And I do not yet see evil, not yet.

Oh well,
I think I need a movement so I'll catch ya later.

Moons - my natural response to the reality that is life in 2013 differs little from own. You've made it perfectly clear that you are not a subscriber to the supernatural ontology, revelation epistemology, and divine axiology and teleology, which form the lens through which I perceive all that is.  I'm fine with that. Understand, that it is the author of my hope.

I guess the kid can't speak even if he wanted to right now. So, it is a mute point. Or a moot point, take your pick Joan. LOL This is going to be a sad, sad story in the end. IMHO I know how much a younger sibling can idolize their big brother. I can't help but think, there will be a time when Jahar isn't hurting so much, he will grieve his dead brother that he ended up running over! He may just decide he wished more for an alive brother and that his brothers "sacrifice", made nothing better or different. And then he will see what horror was done, for no good reason. If he wanted to die, I believe he would have, he had the means, didn't he?

So, everyone else can try and figure out if he needs Miranda rights read, which I am sure he doesn't, but it is formality. I could probably recite them myself and trust me, I've never been handcuffed. Tongue Smile

LOL@Carlin. I think that makes you a hopeful pessimist? I know, a bit of an oxymoron. Some have perpetual moronic thinking, too. Usually the black and white thinkers, the systemic ones. Did I get that right? I had to go look up axiology! Tongue Smile
