You started this vague, yet stupidly titled thread and kept it that way. And you just said you were ALL for common sense gun control, yet, when asked to be succinct about it to clarify for common ground, you choose to fling accusations. I was attempting to have a conversation about this important, au courant issue with you, or so I thought. You want to be angry. Have at it. You want to parse words and issues to evade the fact you are all for doing nothing because you don't believe in anything? I don't happen to have an agenda. I am living in the here and now, and am reacting to that. 

You really shouldn't go around accusing me of thinking things I am not, just because I can imagine well, almost anything! Suddenly bringing up pen knives on airplanes is the real point?  ... oh, right! I am really getting a kick out the denialist tactics that are all the rage these days. Talk about funny! Talk about your agenda.... the bitch and moan agenda? That is what I call stagnation as a result of your disillusionment. 

You like to ask me to answer your questions, which I have done in a nice way and then you get a cranky fit and flounce away without answering mine. I haven't left any conversations.... so if you think we have unfinished business, don't be shy about it hang around and maybe we'll finish something one of these days?

Vonisk, I was responding (sarcastically) to bee pointing out the physical, mental profile of the attacker.

And I didn't say anything regarding locking them up. I said, obviously sarcastically, they should be banned. Bee seemed to think it was important to describe the cutter's physical, mental, and social stats. Bee, I'm not mad. There isn't anything here to get mad about. I'll make a deal with you; you don't assume what I think and I won't assume what you think.
As for what my thoughts are on how 'far gun control' should go, it doesn't matter. And I didn't intend to 'throw accusations'. What would it accomplish? Right, nothing.

So, if someone is descriptive about something they just watched on the National news, it becomes what? Something automatically bad? It can't have been a simple observation? Watching the news well, it left me with only imagining about this "X-acto knife"? ... I never ever got to see a picture of the actual weapon used! Good grief. And you know what else? I think it doesn't matter what I write, because there is a certain group who post here and they will automatically hate my every word, regardless. Frankly, by now, I'm used to it.

The thing is...if your point was, that this Texas knifer attack makes any new laws on gun control irrelevant, too, you did a lousy job.

It was meant to be a joke, but I knew you'd try to make like it was serious, and I didn't want you to hurt yourself analyzing and trying to make it about gun control. So, I deleted it to keep from bothering you. But, this thread had nothing to do with gun laws, Bee. I'm not hung up on that topic. Every thing in the world, does not relate to gun control, not even the cow possibly dumping on the moon. &:-)
