GSD, you keep missing the point.

People are not perfect,  NO ONE IS.  That is why Jesus came to earth, because God is perfect, yet man keeps sinning,  since the beginning in the Garden of Eden.

God paid the sacrifice by sending His son, so that WHOEVER BELIEVE in HIM can have everlasting life.  PERIOD.

There is NO other way to God/Heaven.  You may not like that, but that is fact.

If you are not following God's ways, you are following the father of lies, Satan.  Another FACT.

You betcha there are hypocries, and I'll betcha you are one too!

We are not meant to lie with one of the same sex.  That is an abomination.  Marriage was ordained by God.  You can not prove otherwise because that is also fact!!

If He ordained it, no court can change it, though man may try.  So what the U.S. has done is turned from God, and wether you want to believe it or not, at one time the leaders of the U.S. were very God fearing men.

 

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9–10).

“But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted” (1 Timothy 1:8–11).

 

So what it boils down to is this.  Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman.  Anyone who lives a homosexual life or CONDONES one, is going against God almighty.

Nuff said about that, from me anyway.

Now about your second point.  The rapture.  I believe it is definitely Biblical, and I also beleive it is pre-trib.  There will be tribulation, but the Tribulation period I speak of is that of Jacobs trouble - Israel's trouble.  I don't believe the  Church (true God /Bible believeing followers will be here for that.) That is another subject in itself, we can get into that on another topic if you wish.

Also, I believe the U.S. is indeed in Bible prophecy, and that it is Mystery Babylon the Bible speaks of.  It will be destroyed and brought to ruin.-By Russia!  One just needs to listen to the news to see it will be soon!

The man in the video says Russia will attack the States at the same time as Israel, personally I think it will be before, so that the Jews(6,768,855in the States) will go home to Israel before the time of Jacobs trouble, JMO.

Just a thought, God HATES pride, the U.S. is full of it, and the LGBT community call themselves Gay PRIDE.  Hmmm.

 

 

 

RS, what YOU don't get is, that is YOUR belief and has not one thing to do with anyone else, because it is NOT FACT, it is FAITH, two different things completely.  That is why religion has no place in government or laws, each person walks their own path, has their own opinions and those opinions are EQUAL under the laws of the U.S..  If that's the path you choose to walk, you are more than free to do so, but to force others to walk YOUR path of FAITH, is BONDAGE!

You keep saying fact and the fact is there in no fact. God never ordained marriage - marriage is a man made institution. Adam and Eve didn't get married. Because number 1 there never was an Adam and Eve. The bibles story of Adam and Eve is wrong. There were people on earth 50,000 years before the story of Adam and Eve. Now that is fact. First humans date back to Africa and not the middle east - fact. You talk as if the bible is fact and that simply is not true.

A book written by man and translated and rewritten by man has it wrong. Ever play the game in school were one person tells someone something and it gets said to everyone in the class and when it is said out loud by the last person it isn't the same story?

Let's get one thing straight, there is a difference between civil rights and religious freedom.  Civil rights now includes marriage equality while religious freedom means people are free to feel it is a sin.  Let's get another thing straight, who we are attracted to and how we identify sexually is based in genetics.  This is a fact unless you believe the earth is 6,500 years old and dinosaurs died out because they missed Noah's Ark.

There is a portion of the "Y" chromosome that is called SRY and is the sex determining portion.  We all start out as female fetuses. That is scientific fact.  Around the 2nd trimester, fetuses get the signal from the SRY portion of the Y chromosome which starts the process of masculinization of the fetus.  This is a process not an on/off switch.  The process entails physical appearance, brain structures and chemistry, attraction (it is a chemical occurrence with pheromones and neurotransmitters), etc.  Many things can happen during this period of fetal development.  Such things as androgen insensitivity syndrome where the body does not recognize or synthesize androgen resulting in a female physical appearance and in many cases attraction to men.  The problem is this person is genetically XY but appears and thinks as a woman, in the past, it took a trip to the physician and genetic testing to find out the reason the young girl was not attaining puberty and developing as a woman was because genetically she was an XY.  The person can have XYY, XXY, XXX XXXX, XXYY XXXY, and so on.  Human sexuality is a continuum and not either or, sexual attraction is a continuum not either or.  So the biblical ideal of relationships was based on outward appearance and not science.  Don't forget, the bible spoke against interracial marriage, divorce, premarital sex to name a few.  It also condoned slavery, mulitple wives and concubines.  So let's stop cherry picking biblical passages.......

Mr. Graham can still practice his religion, nothing has changed for him.  Same sex couples, on the other hand, have been locked out of society and forced to live their lives according to others' puritanical views.  Tough shit if Franklin Graham is offended, nobody is asking for his approval!
