I don't think it's a glitch, it happens consistently now. I have to use the simple form if I want to type more than a few sentences; no features on the advanced form work for me anymore.
Can admin help with any suggestions?

Duh, I've never really figured out the difference between the
'simple form' and the advanced one.

I have emailed Oli again to take a look at the editor.
Something that might be useful is a screenshot of the screen as you are having the problem because as of yet we have not been able to recreate the problem on our end.

The advanced form looks normal - after I type a few sentences, words are deleted and the cursor jumps to the beginning of the paragraph. I can't post photos from my album either. I can't see any of the videos posted here unless there is a link posted. I don't get error messages. Do you still want to see a screen shot? Sorry I am not computer literate so can't make it any clearer. As long as I use the simple form I can type the entire message.

Has something chaged about the site that allows ads as a side bar on the left side of the screen? Or have I been affected by some malware specific to my computer?

I understand perfectly but I cannot recreate your problems on my desktop, laptop or Iphone. If we/Oli can't recreate the problems it makes it difficult to fix unless Oli just happens to find something wrong. I have asked him to take a look at this thread and have tried to convey the problems in an email.

Key strokes in certain combinations cause incorrect tasks, backspacing and deletions, line jumps, and disappearing cursor.
But not every time for me, just sometimes.
Sometimes taking three or four clicks to get a cursor to show up in the box.
