How about some minimum wage statistics to chomp on, then? You want to know what the minimum wage was when I started my first job where I got a W-2?  I remember! ..... $2.21 .... LOL

And when it came time for my performance review, I was so happy to get my raise! ... of $ .07 .  It kills me, today, thinking about it. And the push is for how much? $10 bucks an hour? So people can spend our economy back into health? Is that the way it is supposed to go?

Bee,

I started my first job back in 1975 and you can see what the minimum wage was back then.

So, lets look at the current wage adjusted for inflation. lol, 4.87, wow those working poor people sure are getting ahead in life. Lets take away their food stamps (all the while giving big corporate farms huge subsidies) and make sure they never get health care. Minimum wage is a joke and we should be ashamed of ourselves. And don't give me the line that companies gladly pay more - we all know the truth. Look at the numbers.

I asked 3 direct questions and you can't answer

Not even you are silly enough to believe that.

you come back with more demeaning arrogance

I exposed your posts for the vacant ranting that they are. You didn't need my help or anyone else's for the rest, all day long.

What is sad is you somehow have it that Obama is subverting the constitution because he wants to use EOs to raise the minimum wage

You seem to struggle with reading comprehension. Go back and try to absorb a little more of it, because this is clearly a fabrication on your part.

I have proven that Obama has used very few EOs and you still want to dismiss it with your huge superiority complex.

You haven't proven anything relevant to my original post; go back and read, because I've already tried to help you with that one as well. Watch the video lesson.

Superioty complex?  Interesting. That would seem to be a relative concept. We all have our "things"; evidently civil government, public policy, and history are not some of your "things".

Cute little chart, btw.

You have proven nothing beyond your arrogance and self promoted worth.

lol, to the rest of what you have written above.

Cute little chart - because the truth hurts doesn't it?

Why don't you try and debate the merits of issues instead of throwing out your superior self endowed knowledge that you feel you have? BTW, what video do you keep talking about and what does a video have to do with my supposed lack of reading comp? Oh unless you want me to read your video.

corbertreport? LMFAO, okay. It sums up your whole knowledge base. LMFAO SMH and moves on.

So, a person making minimum wage is now actually making less an hour than they did 30 years ago. Something to be real proud of while big business is raking in billions in profits.

You have proven nothing

I didn't claim to have "proven" anything...that was you. Go back and read.

lol, to the rest of what you have written above.

Assuming your first job was in 75', one might assume at least a tad more maturity.

Cute little chart - because the truth hurts doesn't it?

Those numbers niether hurt nor help any argument in and of themselves. That's why it's so darn cute of you to post it. :)

Why don't you try and debate the merits of issues

I don't have any problem doing that, but let's face it, that's not really what you're after now is it? ;)

Moving on and away from arrogance and those who need to cut down others and point out their short coming to puff up themselves. Talk about strawmen.

So, the right would have you believe that the working poor are holding their own and need no help all the while giving billions in corporate welfare. While cutting food stamps and other programs that help the working poor. Then to have the nerve to claim that a hike in the minimum wage would hurt business. It apparently hasn't hurt business in the last 30 years.

You never ever uses words like "WE will get this done". Or "IF CONGRESS WILL NOT". If you are going to destroy the constitution, that you swore to preserve. It is much better to make it look like it was not your idea. It's like saying "Who are these colonialist that think they know better than the Crown"?
