I really like how Abdul Saleeb explains Islam.  

There are many who call them (Muslim scientists), some are good, some are not that good and some have hidden agendas, that is why we should be careful who we are reading.
I personally do not trust those who are members in groups, parties etc, I prefer reading those who are neutral as most probably have no personal specific interests. Thanks for sharing those links. I wouldn't limit myself to one view though, to be more accurate and safe you take the common views among Muslim Scientists/experts.

Listen ggtuner, tell the truth as it is, the link above is to a Muslim who left Islam and went to Christianity, fine that is his choice, but do not say he explains Islam, say he attacks Islam.

If I attack Christianity here, can you describe me as explaining Christianity, come on, I think we are all too mature for this game  

One thing to highlight.Muslims, Christians and Jews should differentiate between what religion is/does and what followers of a certain religion do.
I remember when America attacked and conquered Iraq and Afghanistan, Muslim people had conflicting views and takes on that, some said Imperialism is attacking us, some said American weapon manufacturers are attacking us and some Said Christians are attacking us and George Bush slip in calling it a crusade invasion didn't help people understand who is attacking who and why.
I myself do not think deep inside my heart Christianity was invading Islam and I do not believe for a minute Bush is a fine representative of Christianity nor his true motives were Christian/religious.
Same thing when a Muslim takes action against America or Europe, look at it same way, religion isn't evil, some human are. Islam does not tell us to attack and kill you.

I do not think Dr. Gabriel is attacking Islam.  But, that is my perspective.   I think he is sharing his knowledge of his former religion and how it impacted him.

I respect your perspective but do not share it with you, describing Abu Saleeb as describing Islam or explaining Islam isn't subjective

As we are having this dialogue here. Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt are accusing the Egyptian army of being disbelievers and are declaring war against Islam, so this twisting of Quran words and verses is not limited towards non believers, Christians or Jews, it can also be tailored against other parts of Islam followers (or better called other parts of same nation). Top Egyptian Islamic institute (AL-Azhar) stand is pro removing previous president, Mursi, that proves not all Islam followers are united and not all of them are correct, isn't that a fact? I think it is and it is each one's choice in life what to believe and what to do in life, tools some use to justify their actions is totally a different story
