Original sin is one of the most evil concepts ever presented. Sorry, but no.

Thanks Ruger, I appreciate the attempt, but I'm way past missionaries and "Pagan babies". That was just the first time I'd really thought about what I was being taught. From then on, I questioned everything and reading the Bible when I was in 7th grade cemented my Atheism. I've never looked back, nor would I want to.

the thought of burning babies only generates "lols" and smiley faces from ruger, nuff said.

Funny how the Gregorian calendar, which is what our current calendar is was an attempt to align Easter with the pagan Spring Solstice. Christmas was an attempt to align with Winter Solstice. Many of the pagan symbols were either absorbed and repurposed for Christianity or demonized. The Gregorian calendar is a combination of the Julian calendar from Roman times and the pagan Lunar calendar. Interesting what you find out looking at reputable non-biased sources. I believe everyone has their own version of religion, not one of the religions is the "right" one. They are all a product of their region, context, etc. To say a Muslim or Jew or Buddhist is going to hell because they lack the belief in Jesus is arrogant. I thing the Good Lord cares more about how you live your life and treat those less fortunate and vulnerable than shouting from the roof tops that you believe. It's more live the example of a good Christian than brag about how you do.

Just gotta feel the Christian love sometimes. A childhood friend posted this on FB and I replied: Oh, so this is what "indivisible" means!
They just don't get it, do they? They just can't seem to grasp the fact that "under God" cancels "indivisible", but they don't care, just so long as they "win". SMH, SMS. But the persecution is aimed at them, right? They're not the ones dividing us, no siree bub. I wonder how they'd feel if it were "One Nation under Allah" or One Nation with "no gods"? And instead of trying to understand, they'll turn around and insist that we're a "Christian nation". Patriotic my ass!
