Your going to need a time frame and how many point drop you consider a crash.
If we can agree how about we make it a $1000.00 bet?
by Bob McKown on 15 October 2014 - 14:10
I think we are heading for a crash that will make 08 look like a mild correction.

by GSD Admin on 15 October 2014 - 14:10
Time will tell. But all indications are that this was a correction in the markets and not a prelude to a crash.

by GSD Admin on 15 October 2014 - 14:10
To make another point when the market went into uncharted territory, well above record highs, none of you had much to say but when it corrects itself all of a sudden the sky is falling, henny penny much?

by Mountain Lion on 15 October 2014 - 14:10
Corrections are normal, we are talking something huge here....

Sorry to burst you guys bubble of impending doom and gloom. On to the next prediction, we will go. Maybe you guys will get lucky next time and then you can sit back and slap yourselves on the back because you finally succeeded at your negative craft.

by Mountain Lion on 17 October 2014 - 16:10
It's going to happen and no one predicted when.
There is usually some wild volitility before a crash.
Look out below, could be months away, but we are overdue...

by GSD Admin on 17 October 2014 - 17:10
Right no one predicted it, but you sure are wishful. Want to know why? Because you can't stand that under democrats gas and oil is lower and the stock market is at all time highs. People who wish for doom and gloom are much worse off than miserable people, IMHO.
It is like you guys are cheerleaders for something to go wrong.
But when a republican is in office and things go really wrong you come up with excuse after excuse to try and save face.
Why can't we just say that no matter who is in office if they screw up, they screw up and move on.
Here I will start: I don't think all the things that Obama has done have been 100% right but I can say that going back over all the presidents who have been in office since I was old enough to care, have done things that I don't agree with and/or have screwed up.
Also, why is that when a republican president screws up and dems say something they are all of a sudden unpatriotic but when the opposite happens the same people are the first to cheer the mistake?
BTW, we are feeding right into the politicians plans and that is to divide us. Because united we stand and divided we fail?
You say we are overdue, well yeah the law of averages tells us when things are going really good it is just a matter of time before they go bad. We are also overdue on the sun exploding, a large asteroid hitting us, a large CME hitting us and any other thing in the imagination. Because lets face it we are long overdue for many many things, doesn't mean I get giddy when it happens. So, yes we are overdue for many many things when you look at the big picture.
