hey moons, geez you guys take this intertubes banter serious. back to yr question, challenge is that i go to these gurus for training help and they try turn it into sumthin where they put a big barrel sleeve on and try shut my dog down so they can get bragging rights and of course sell you a "better" dog they just happen to have. i know the game now i and am all about it. i make a deal they gotta use an undercover sleeve (thinner) and i am allowed to do to their dogs whatever they do to mine - LMAO - i always win, mostly cos they won't use an undercover sleeve and they got no dogs to show. 

so that is the challenge. think i have matured past it tho, less to prove, least i never refused or lost a challenge once when i was in the stupid prove sumthin phase. lol, i know my dog and i know his genetics, thats why i win.

anyhoo, some work has come up in town, seems there is a spate of crime and the local businesses and police have been encouraging to use and pay for property protection services. have got a partner with a rott and just getting the paper-work in order as we speak. also getting a licence to use a baton.

When it came to dog training, my friend had a big barrel by the gate to the training area that read "Please deposit your ego here, it has no place in training or working dogs". 

I always found myself wondering why some feel their dogs are a furry substitute for their set, kind of like having a fast car or big truck, compensation for something.....

And by the way, Betty White's quote says it all .....
