Two Moons

by Two Moons on 23 May 2013 - 16:05

There are so many holes, contradictions, and mistakes in your book how can you be sure?
It's obvious you all seem to disagree on most of it.
None of your timelines or dates add up.
You really believe someone lived to be 433 years?

Im know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it's in the book!

You know, Moons;  You're like an annoying fly that never goes away. Even when no one is talking to you, you keep getting in the middle of it.  I've looked at a number of acclaimed contradictions of the Bible and every time I found they claimed contradiction, but yet they either were ignorant of other things in the Scriptures that show why something said it did; Or they took the passages out of context; Or there were some of the Scribal errors if you will on certain numbers, but they were not really numbers of importance or significance.

Matt.1:1  shows how names may be  properly  omitted in line
with the Hebrew usage of the word sons.

Joram begat Uzziah,  Uzziah=Azariah. 2Kings 14:21  omits
3 links, which is perfectly permissible in Hebrew geneologies.

The ancient Hebrews revolutionized the concept of "history", being the first to utilize a linear historicity.  Strictly from an historic perspective, it is by far the most comprehensive account of ancient civilization.  In terms of this contribution, all accomplished historians (including the biblical minimalists) rely heavily on the Hebrew account.  Overwhelmingly, the informed perspective reveals that the substance of the revisionists' claims may be termed as "arguments from silence", rather than being based on actual contradictory data.  Responsible secular historians disregard claims that the biblical record is inerrant, due the the lack of supporting evidence; however, these same scientists refrain from generic statements to the contrary, for the same reason.  Although I can't say for sure, I remain skeptical that anyone on this forum possesses the credentials of these historians.

Yes, email me too, although I tend to agree with you Shtal on the age of the earth.  I saw a video on Daniels timeline, and it rung true with me, close within 3 or 4 years IM HUMBLE O. :)

Eye opening video, regardless of the age of the earth, no doubt in my mind about coming trouble, and about God, the Devil and the Bible being the truth.

YES !!!!!
take it to e-mail and PM's, thank you thank you.

gsdguy,
your in public, and while my presence may annoy you remember, I am not alone.
Go out into the streets and carry on there as you do here and you will see that I am not alone.
Good peoples polite manners and tolerance go only so far.
Go on, prove me wrong, I think you know I'm right.

Red Sable,
your video's are anything but eye opening, and if this is what you intend to believe then I no longer have any respect for your opinions.
Seriously these are the worst yet.

I posted them not as fact ( although I think some of it is fact), but as thought provoking.  I've received a pm telling me some scriptures were misinterpreted, so, I'll certainly look into that.  I've never pretended to know it all and certainly have no plans on starting. Angel Smile

As for you no longer respecting my opinions, sorry to hear that Moons, although, I honestly have always thought we were on polar opposites of this issue.Regular Smile

Yes we have a disagreement about religion, but I always figured you had more sense than a couple of the others who post that kind of nonesense.
I guess I was a little surprised by those eye opening videos coming from you.

I know what I said doesn't matter to you, it wouldn't matter to me either, but I felt compelled to say it regardless.

This interpretation you all seem to disagree on is a sign that someone is very wrong, if not all.
When the Christian, the Jew, and the Muslim can all sit down and break bread together without killing each other then I would say there is something to this thing you worship.
Until then your all wrong.

I have done just what you've said, however, I"m just a wee piece of this big puzzle.

World peace isn't going to happen as long as the Devil is on the loose deceiving many.
Buut, I know, I know, you don't believe in him either.  Wink Smile
So, to keep PDB peace, we'll have to agree to disagree, after all, how can we expect the whole world to get along, if we can't?Dog
