Ibrahim,  in some of your earlier posts on this thred you referenced
the differences between various Islamist groups, and ways of thinking.  
Can you educate me, please ?   Seems obvious to me that we should
not lump every Muslim together in the potential terrorist, fundamentalist
Jihardi picture.  But for those of us on the outside,  how do we tell what
messages and beliefs are being promoted ?
Unless we have good grasp of the languages involved, we cannot
just pop round and eavesdrop at our local mosques.
There are views in translation all over the Internet but it would take
years, and wide knowledge, to sort through those !
Our media would appear to prefer us to believe that it is not a
straightforward idealogical difference between  eg  Shi'ite and Sunni ;
and despite Q'ran teachings to the contrary,  there are Moslems who
for instance still maintain women are 2nd class citizens ;  or that it is
wrong to celebrate birthdays ;  or wrong to play music,  etc etc.
Are there any clear cut guidelines ?

There are several possible scenarios Moons, the best of them is people would think you are insane and just leave you alone

Any Islamic group that is involved in any way in politics is not to be trusted, the group leaders have goals to reach and almost always they would use the religion to get followers and then explain Quran in the way it suits them. Therefore when you come to know a group that is involved in Politics be cautious.
Groups that teach and invite people to be better Muslims, work in charity etc are good to befriend with. A ordinary Muslim who is not part of a certain group is always trustworthy. Be cautious of a Muslim who is a member of a party, group etc as you don't know what brain washing was done to him/her.
The more educated a Muslim is the more you can trust him/her. These are the general rules I would recommend. You may find this strange but Muslim terrorists are the minority and very very few. In fact such groups like Al Qaeda are not Muslims if you understand the meaning of the word Muslim, they are terrorists who use Islam as a cover and a motive. They are linked to intelligence networks. Those are the most dangerous in real life, they are fearless and ferocious and have no mercy in their hearts and followers have no brains in their heads, they act more like machines than humans. If you promise you can watch how they slaughter a human being of their same religion without fainting I can post you a video here.

I will speak about my country, in Jordan almost all people are peaceful, ordinary Muslims, you can hardly differentiate them from villagers in Europe. We have a group that is called Muslim brotherhood, they have a party, they have followers round 50,000 people, not a big number but very well organized, so far in Jordan they have been peaceful but we were worried they would try to seize power here after their mates in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt did.
We have number of Jihadists in hundreds, those are very dangerous and capable of anything, those Jihadists and believe it or not are paid by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Britain and the US and at the moment fighting against Assad in Syria and slaughter soldiers they capture alive and sometimes cut their bodies in pieces, those Jihadists are very very dangerous to all societies,believe me you don't want them against you and it is a crime to humanity to support them in any way, shame on those  who do that..
Anymore questions in mind I will answer honestly.
P.S: Britain recently sent to us one of the Jihadists leaders, a nice gesture from Britain to Jordan

By the way, Europe and the States are the best countries to be one of their citizens, freedom of speech, human rights etc etc,but that is only valid for their own not for other humans in other countries, outside their borders they know only their interests and act accordingly even if that means massacres, mass killings, poverty..... whatever, they only stop when their own public gets aware and applies pressure, I many times do not see them any different from Osama Bin Laden, do not hate me for that but this is what we know here.

Many Americans wonder why people outside the US hate them. 
People love and look up to America and Americans. At the same time they have bitter feelings inside their hearts towards America. Not logical?! but it is true.
They love the individual freedom in the US, they love the American Way in life, they love their movies, their songs, their language and accent, they love the beauty of their women, they love their easy go in life.
They hate what America does to their land, their wealth, their governments, their dignity, their choices. They do not hate them because they are of different religion and different beliefs, No, they hate them because their leaders step on their lives and wellness.
So people here Love and Hate America, not logical?! believe me it's the truth without any beautification.

The Abrahamic Covenant.
This covenant was made by God with the fathers of the nation of Israel and including;
A the promise of a national land  Gen. 12:1; 13:16;  17:2-6

The Palestinian Covenant
This covenant gave Israel particular assurance of final,permanent restoration to the land,
Deut.30:3-5;  Eze 20:33-37,  42-44.
There is an inter-relationship between this  covenant and the Abrahamic Covenant,
Israel is promised a national landfor the Palistinian Covenants litteral fulfillment,
Israel must be converted as a nation so to be eligible to live in Palestine ans she must be regathered from her world wide dispersion.
At that time she will also witnes s the judgment of her enemies Zech.chapters 12-14.

The David Covenant
Thiscovenant has particularly to do with Israels spiritual blessing and redeption   Jer.31:31-40;  Heb.8:6-13.

There is is an interrelationship between the second part of the Abrahahic Covenant
In the Abrahamic Covenant Israel is promised a national redemption.  In the New Cvenant
the shedding of Christs blood at Calvary is the means wherby Israelites will turn someday in faith
with converted hearts which will be the foundation of all her blessings.  The benefits of the new Covenant,
however clearly extend beyond Israel to all who except Christ by faith Matt26: 27-28 Thats why Paul in Cal. 3:29
calls the believing Gentiles Abrahams seed and heirs according to the promise.

The New Covenant  is the last of the great covenant of Scriptures.
The full blessings of the Nwe Covenant will not be fulfilled until after the Second comming of Christ.
The New Covenant of  Jer. 31;31-34 CAN ONLY BE FULFILLED IN THE NATION iSRAEL.
tHE nEW cOVENANT IS UNCONDITIONAL,everlasting and made in grace {UNMERITED FAVOR
It will occur in a period when war shall cease and pease shall reign Hos.2:18 which is
during the Millenial period.
