Bee wrote- "It is a corruption..." .
Conquest was central to Islam from the time Muhammad took over in Medina. It was immediately theocratic, and while there was a mild toleration of Judaism and Christianity, this was the case only in areas under Muslim control. Obviously, they justify their atrocities under the guise of jihad, because they lack the might to wage traditional warfare against the infidels (although they continue to pursue the , aka Iran). Because they are theocratic, the purpose of the state aligns with the purpose of the clerics; the Saudi's are no exception here, though they wisely disguise their agenda. Generally, the extremists are associated with the Shia. Just as Christianity became more of a social institution under Rome (prompting the reformation), the Shia believe the Sunni majority to have compromised Islam, at least as forwarded by Muhammad. This complicates our notion not only of what Islam is, but also of whom is whom, in the Muslim world. Catholics and Baptists are Christian as I am, but I do not automatically ascribe a spiritual dynamic based upon the dogmatic membership to a societal institution.

Moe had the full head of hair.
I would appreciate it if we could stick to the original thread of the Boston Bombing and the horrific events of that transpired. The personal insults are getting a little tiring, erroneous and vitriolic. Miranda is a very interesting topic and certainly one that could be discussed intelligently and factually. This however is not the way to have an intelligent fact based conversation. When it comes to Miranda, opinions do not matter. There are times when Miranda is necessary and times when it is not necessary. It depends on the situation and the law. Normally, when a person is detained and a reasonable person would not feel free to leave, Miranda is required before any questioning. This also has to deal with the totality of the circumstances, ie location, number of Officers present and other variables. If a person is under arrest and is being questioned, Miranda is required for any statements made to be admissible. There is an exception and that would be in cases such as this.
Miranda is not always required and people can be questioned with out being read or advised Miranda. An example would be a traffic stop or a consensual encounter, Miranda is not required and any statements made that lead to arrest of that individual are completely acceptable as long as there is no coercion.

I have a full head of hair that isn't a personal attack it is fact. You are sensitive. You can talk about my lack of intelligence and then whine when I say I have a full head of hair. Oh boy. You sure have a double standard, most cops do. Then talking about my half a pain pill and my train wreck isn't baiting. You sure are a real piece of work.
You have a good day.
