The U.S. health care system is going to implode because of Obama’s craptastic law.

CBO Expects 9 Million to go on Medicaid because of Obamacare over next year, one huge problem, Doctors say they won’t accept them…

The fact that the software was given to a company outside the US to write is ridiculous.  I am glad that my son will be covered under my insurance until he is 26.  Having been without insurance when my son was an infant/toddler was an exercise in constant anxiety over every little cough or bump, if he needed medical care, how was I going to afford it?  I was the working poor, couldn't afford health insurance for my son and made barely enough to survive on but it was just enough to put me over the edge of having state funded health care for my son.  I remember the panic I felt when I got the bill for his ear infection or respiratory infection from my pediatrician along with the medication and thankfully she put me on a payment plan, it still took a very long time to pay it off, but I remember going without lunch or breakfast more than once so he could be taken care of and the bills paid when he got sick while at daycare which is a common occurrence known by anyone who has kids lol (and that is a different story, affording quality daycare so I could work 2 part time jobs).  Thankfully he was a generally healthy child.  It was a HUGE relief when I finally got hired by the fire department and had health care because he developed severe migraines and the medication for this was not cheap (outgrew them when he hit puberty).

Is the ACA starting off without a hitch? Heck no.  Could it have been done better? Oh hell yes.  Is everyone having health insurance a good thing? Most definitely.

There is nothing to be proud of........ from Obama's lies about this law, to his illegal and selective delays and waivers, to his the utter incompetence of its execution, to the fact that it has wreaked havoc over the entire healthcare industry which could likely result in another recession.

We just got more empty propaganda like "If you like your plan you can keep your plan, period". Even President Obama has now apologized for his infamous statement to the contrary. But the promise was worse than untrue. It was used to obscure a moral wrong at the heart of Obamacare.

So why did Obama and his fellow Democrats all lie?

If Obama is correct on this point, the lie was absolutely central to obscuring something monstrous at the heart of the law: millions of Americans were to intentionally and deliberately have their insurance taken away. According to a RAND Corporation analysis 3.8 million of the people losing their existing insurance because of Obamacare will not be able to replace it and will become uninsured. so that others might live. Even if the latter number is greater than the former, such a proposition would make most Americans squeamish........ and for good reason.

You will be less  likely to keep your plan and doctor.......... Question.........Is everyone really "having healthcare"?......The CBO predicts 30 million or more will still be uninsured 10 years down the road.

Of course everyone having health insurance is a wonderful thing.  I am thankful that some who have not had that opportunity, that comfort, will have it now.  Unfortunately, though, this law will deprive others of insurance, and many with insurance will not get care.  Ten days after the election CMS announced that radiation oncology reimbursement for Medicare patients in NC, SC, and GA would be cut by 15%. (Medicare cuts intended to fund the new system.)  So providers have cut services, even for patients who could be cured with radiation.  Many doctors in this market are just hanging it up.  My doctor has quit practicing, gone into teaching.  Some will be helped, but others will suffer. I hope there will be a net gain but I am not optimistic. The number of hard core (as opposed to transitory) uninsured before the ACA was enacted was between 8 and 9 million . . many more than that will lose their insurance.

Travels, he is entitled to his opinion, just because it may not jive with the 'regulars' here, doesn't make him a troll.

No RS, that doesn't make him a troll.  But what does make him a troll is that he joined a dog board to continue posting only in OT and only about one subject.  He's a troll, the real kind.  And it doesn't matter if I agree with him or not, he's still a troll.

Well IMO there definitely are trolls.

Then again there are people I don't consider Trolls who occasionally start threads that I consider TROLL threads.

I don't consider Barry a troll, but I am curious how right out of the box he posted pictures and music videos. Usually newcomers have a question or two before mastering these functions...

Time will tell...

I have posted on the following threads........Let's talk about Obamacare ...............Off Topic Music Thread..........Off Topic Joke Thread.........Off Topic Happy Holiday

Mountain Lion, I was a previous member (RPK) here for a few years and I'm fairly pc savvy.  As for GSDtravels name calling, let me just say that I have posted and weighed in on topics that I enjoy find interesting. Is that wrong? The only posts that GSDtravels has made on the Obamacare thread is to call me names (troll) and shift the topic from its original intent. I'll let others define her actions, but it is oblivious to me she knows the definition of what a troll is all to well

Back to the threads topic..........I see that David Ploufee says it may take until 2017 to fix the Obamacare Website to work really well....the mid terms are going to be epic!!!
