Redsable, If the God of the Bible does not suit you then feel free to create your own god to worship as many others do..However, the God of the Bible doesn't change to accommodate what you determine as acceptable and is not in need of your worship..The rocks will do!!,,,

Deanna, I do worship the God of the Bible, absolutely I do.  But I sure don't see Him the same way as you do.

How covenient to condem the new born to hell, kinda makes it hard to catch that first breath.
Sounds like a scam to me.

RS, You are allowing your human sensibilities to dictate the type of God you want to worship,,Thats fine and many choose to do that. However, the God of the Bible is not going to submit to your sensibilites..

As a believer in the scriptures as the inspired word of God, in no way would I diminish them.  That said, one of the most profound things I have ever read (written by Glenn Martin), and I paraphrase "We ought not absolutize the Bible, we ought only absolutize God."  To me, this would indicate that although the Bible is all God, it would be arrogant to assert that "all of God", is in the Bible, and can be fully apprehended by man.  This is the mistake of the rationalists, whose efforts to define the cosmos, effectually seek to elevate themselves to the same plane as the one inhabited by a transcendent Creator.
