Proving Ground Kennels is a world-class European Dobermann kennel based out of Tempe, AZ. Our breeding stock is composed of some of the finest European imports currently available in the United States, we take pride in producing prospects with the genetic predisposition to excel in the world of dog shows, competition trials ( PSA, Schutzhund, Mondio Ring ) and real working environments such as Security and Police K-9. We raise and train all of our dogs from within, specializing in competition obedience, handler protection, and narcotic and explosive detection. We understand the Dobermann breed has suffered from a great deal of deterioration during the past decades in the United States due to poor breeding practices, that is why at Proving Ground Kennels we only work with the finest bloodlines that Europe has to offer and train them in what we consider the toughest working dog trial in America, PSA. The result is what we like to call the "Proving Ground Dobermann", a dog with the great looks and muscular built to excel in the show ring, and also with the intense drive and solid nerve to succeed in PSA. Our Proving Ground Dobermanns are canine athletes that are conditioned and supplemented to the highest standards in canine health and nutrition.
