Hello, I am new here and would like some info if possible. I am interested in purchasing a German Shepherd and I came accross their website. I know they just purchased another kennel from a lady in NC that sold everything due to health reasons. Has anyone done business with them? Do they work and title their dogs or are they just a breeder? I want to make the right decision and not purchase from someone that just breeds without a goal in mind and I also want breeder support. Thank you

Did you google Cook Farm Kennel  I think if you know even a little all the questions you ask you will find the answers to there.

So is Birgit Hall now totally out of the picture, or is she a partner in this new Cook Farm enterprise ? I would have trusted her to know what she is doing, but there is no indication whether the Cook Farm people have anything like her experience or skills. Dogs advertised as parents of their next 'upcomming' (sic) GSD litter do not seem to have any working qualifications listed on the website. You may be able to persue that further through Working Dog EU or wherever, but without the full name of the dam given, you would not be able to check both sides of the proposed pedigree.

Maybe this typo contributes to some confusion:

An image

It should be "A Part" which means the opposite of "apart".

In any case— buying from the stock of Birgit Hall would have to be a plus in any one's book. I would seriously doubt someone of her reputation and ethics would want to diminish all her labor of love with a casual sale to just anybody.

The OP should make an appointment and go meet the Cook Farm breeder to satisfy any of their own doubts.

I know she is totally out of the picture. She couldn't do it anymore because of her husbands health issues.
