Farmina, $57 for 26lb bag. Way better quality than Orijen IMO. Dogs look great on it. Feed less of it than Orijen too.

Thank you hntrjmpr; Think I am going to look into it again. Nan

HI Bob: I will look into Victor foods also; did so quite a while ago, but have lost track now too many variations in all foods; wished they would just each make one "great" food, one or two proteins and call it a day...

Would make me very happy, but no, they each keep trying to make crappers. So do like the price of Canidae's Pure line though. only near the end of the 3rd bag so we will see, thx for sharing your thoughts. Nan

Well I don't know if they are available in your countries but in our school we all use 2 brands in our dogs:
Gosbi, think is Spanish brand, especially the puppie chiken is really good
And
Nutra Gold Holistic, the salmon is great! Becky is currently on this one and she is growing so fast e what an amazing coat she is with =)

Anyone ever try Merrick?

As our Hunter boy had so many dietary allergies AND he was the damn pickiest eater ever, this was the only food we could find that didn't affect him negatively (and that he loved eating). I like that they have different options (raw infused; grain free; etc.); wet and dry; and lots of various "flavors" (i.e. salmon, venison, rabbit and so much more). I could really mix it up, keeping him interested in eating. We really struggled keeping weight on him (up until he got older and obviously less active) - until we got him on this food.

Damn dog ate better than we did - LOL

Someone mentioned Merrick was bought out by Purina? Wonder what they will do with it?? Hope it does not change... Nan
