Ginny, "a"-6 ausland is a passing score given by the S.V. to a dog registered in a country that does not recognize their "a" stamp programme. The true hip quality could be as high as "a"-1 or as low as "a"-3. Bob-O

The a6 Ausland term means for the SV that the dog is ok with his hips, no more no less, for the SV there is no "a" normal,"a" fast normal, "a" nochzugelassen, for dogs that have there results from forreign country's. In the Zuchtwert calculation there is a difference for dogs that have become the result from the SV and dogs that didn't. Witch is to my believe discrimination. Beqause in many country's its far more difficult to get good results, as well in other country's its more easy. Wy dont they get together and work out a program witch is the same for every country thats member off the FCI. No more confusion ore discrimination. The way its done today the SV claims to be the best in giving HD results!!

Doggy, I agree. We know that that the S.V. blows its horn a lot about reducing hip dysplasie, but of course they can do this because they will certify "a"3 which will fail all of the other hip registries unless the hips improve over time, which they seldom do. Bob-O
