I had a dog who got would hold his ears down, shake his head, and have lots of ear wax if he ate beef bones. Surprisingly, beef is as common an allergy as corn or wheat. Thus the now common varieties of lamb, chicken, duck, fish, venison foods as well as those without wheat or corn. If the protein source is beef, yes, it may cause some irritation - best bet is to have a vet evaluate the dog, and be prepared to recite the ingredients of your food.

thanks Kougar, My dog is showing exactly the same symptoms. Too much wax in the ear. Ears down and head shaking after eating the kibbles. The only reason I'm using Royal Canin is that my dog's stools are much formed and firmer ever since I switched to Royal Canin. So there is one advantage but I don't want to risk a long term damage to his ears due to the food. Can you siggest any good food without Wheat and Corn and more of chicken??? regards PS EaglePack is now available in India. Do you think that is better than RC??
