It is Olevo- compressed dry carrots.Generally speaking, beta carotene which carrots have a lot of, is good for skin in humans.People who consume large qualtities (greater than 5000 IU/day) will develop a yellowish hue to the skin.In the interest of full disclosure, I do feed my dog Olevo carrots, but just a tablespoon full per meal. Those who know my dog can attest to this- his pigmentation and coat is excellent. But I attribute this to his genetics and not necessarily the carrots because his brother who comes to the same club i train also has excellent coat- and his owner does not feed him Olevo. As I mentioned earlier, too much of vitamin A (beta carotene is a precursor of Vit A) can be harmful. As I stated earlier, good nutrition can maintain what nature gave your dog.Best wishes.

We have used Flax seed oil for years but not for color and haven't seen any change. Also use a kelp supplement for skin - and it doesn't change the dog's color. I understand the beta-carotine supplements can do something but as said - they can be dangerous. Everyone forgot the "other" way to improve color -- PHOTOSHOP !!!
