What is some peddler of AmStaffs doing putting ads on the GSD Database? AmStaffs and APBT's are outlawed in many countries as well as many cities throughout the US. Ontario Canada has just recently outlawed the breed. BSL laws are being indroduced every week. Why would anyone in the US want to buy a Staff from some newbie in The Ukraine who has only had a Staff for 5yrs and is already peddling pups. What is a Wood's bloodline? There are Ruffian lines, Tacoma lines, Har Wyn, X Pert lines, but Woods?? I do not believe in using bulldogs for bite work. They were not intended for bitework against a human and are wired different than a GSD.

Breed specific Laws (BSL) Should be fought by everyone. Rather than point a finger at a breed look at irresponsible owners. Have rules that govern all dogs and prosecute the owner for not complying regardless of breed. It is so easy, once BSL is wrote to ad other breeds. Imagine APBT, ASTs and German Shepherd Dogs and Dobermans. Once it is passed this will be the future. No breed specific laws anywhere. There should be vicious dogs laws regardless of breed to protect people from vicious dogs owned bad owners everywhere. Someone would buy a dog because it is for sale and what they want. Why do you buy a dog? Peddling Pups, quote "a puppy peddler is just someone selling more dogs than you" If you are jealous sell some pups yourself. Do your homework, use the Internet. The woods bloodline, actually all 3 different woods bloodlines are alive and well. Back in the 60s there were the bloodlines you mentioned in American Staffordshire terriers. Ruffian, Tacoma and X-pert. Their breeders have passed on and the bloodlies watered down. As for an AST working dog, why was it, Ch Panda's Gallant Kismet SchH3 went to Germany, got hight in trial? She was the cover dog for this on the UKC bloodlines magazine. Many schutzhund titled dogs are bred down from her. United Schutzhund Clubs of America - Schutzhund 3 Club Members - 1993, Marilyn Brubaker-Thompson, Panda's Gallant Kismet, AST. 1993, Marilyn Brubaker-Thompson, Panda's Gallant Finale, AST Then there is Ban Dog Dread SchH3, One Stone Berserk and others. These were early Schutzhund dogs in America. Also talked about in many issues of Bloodlines Magazine. Many American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, and other bulldog breeds get PSA and Schutzhund titles. The Woods bloodline, again. Actually 3 different Woods bloodlines. The veterinarian Dr. Kimsey Woods had Gr Ch Miss Pool Hall Red Rom and Woods Snooty Rom. The dogs bred down from these are called "Woods Bloodline" by some and are the dogs behind the Chinaman and Frisco dogs. Woods Forest, also known as Woods Bloodline was Marsha Woods. She bred Ch Ruffian Bo Tie & Tux. Hundred of AKC Champions come from dogs of her breeding. These dogs were named Ruffian for Mrs. Peggy Harper of Texas. Mrs. Harper bred the Ruffian of Har-Wyn dogs. So Ruffian and Har-Wyn are the same bloodline. Mrs. Woods of Woods Forest used tight pure as she could get Ruffian dogs crossed over the x-pert and Tacoma dogs. When she started the Ruffian, Tacoma and X-pert bloodlines were disappearing and getting watered down. She bred for over 30 years and passed away last year. 30 years breeding, a bloodline should be attributed to your efforts. Don't you think? She is the person behind in the breeding of probably every blue AST and APBT today. All her AST dogs were AKC registered. AKC ASTs can be registered with UKC as APBTs, so according to UKC are the same breed of dogs. She had a second bloodline for awhile known as Woods bloodline also. These were red / red nose dogs. She had a pure Wider dog, which was a Hemphill dog from Jake Wilder. Woods and Wilder's Red Inferno. She bred him over Sarona dogs and was a pioneer in the Hemphill / Sarona cross. Now you can not find either bloodline pure. These dogs were never mated to the blue ASTs and she keep each bloodline separate. These dogs were UKC & ADBA registered. Some call the red nose dogs old family red noses but that is not accurate. Ferguson's Centipede was the last pure old family red nose dog. That was a long time ago. So, hope I cleared a few things up. A good working dog should be applauded regardless of breed, not prejudiced against. Those who use labs, bulldogs, mongrel mixes and others should be allowed to train and compete and are. If you can not beat them, train harder, breed better. Take Care and Good luck titling and training.
