My Dear Friends, Please don't be so harsh with "sportstuff" you have no idea how heartbroken we are for ourselves, our disabled little girl and certainly this dog's breeder who knew NOTHING about this sudden sale. Sportstuff, although I do not know this person is trying to bring to attention a wrong, that is utterly unecessary and needless. We would have been MORE than happy to be patient if we had been given even the basics of info requested of Coloradogsd@aol.com....but we, like apparently many got NOTHING. We are NOT NOVICES. But when you are a high profile kennel in a given country you don't necessarily "out" with that. Amazing how prices go up when people think you have experience.... Anyway all we wanted was a decent dog to help our daughter in her daily life, and to have something respectable to show, even if only for awhile at the shows for our severly challenged little girl . We will not apologize for being too trusting, too decent and too understanding. If , as it has been levelled at us , makes us look like naiive beginners (with 64 years between us) or too "lovey, gushing, caring putzes" then FINE...we are better off thinking the best of people and treating them as such, then to be suspicious and calculating. We'd rather think the best of the GSD community. Sadly there are people like Sarah "Fox" that will take advantage and skew the truth. By the way she was supposed to PAYPAL me the downpayment back by 7:30 PST on April 22, when she' "got off work" suffice to say ,,,we have not our down payment . Hello! My name is Dan Heskett aka sportstuff on this site. I must say I admire the strength of these people to continue with their trusting of people and their intelligence to know it is one bad apple and not all on this site are bad as most are extremely helpful and informative as I have found out and continue to be amazed at the knowledge of the many on the site as well as their willingness to help with questions etc... I find it appalling however that someone would STEAL or take advantage of anyone regardless of challenges life has dealt them. I can and will take any words levied towards me but will NEVER stop helping when/if I can if I know someone was wronged. Even after all they have been through they show their class by wanting to thank me for doing what we ALL should be trying to do and that is weed out those bad apples and expose them and hopefully save others as well from not getting their money taken. I truly feel honored to know of such people. Ms. Gray I received your email and I live in a suburb of Dallas Texas U.S.A. and it is 12:33AM I will respond to you privately as I want to talk with you further and I must say your email more than touched my heart. I will email you sometime tomorrow as it is late and my wife thinks I have spent too much time on the computer for an evening. I am however anxious to talk more with you and will tomorrow after a couple appointments I have in the morning or should I say later today.
