Saoa, My life is a real life situation,although it has calmed down considerably since the birth of my girls.There is nothing like a good protection dog I agree 200% What I disagree with is taking a sport dog worth $5000 or $6000 dollars and cross training him in protection work then tacking on $30,000 or $40,000 for what? I have titled dogs in French Ringsport,SchH is well SchH Been to several trials and found them rather boring myself.What people do with their own money is totaly up to them,You can take a pound dog and turn him into a bad ass protection dog,you just need the right combanation of dog trainer and handler. I always have to smile when I here somebody say they will do this or do that,when in real life they are normally the ones to freez and or piss their pants during the incident.you sound like a pretty savy person Saoa, let me ask you this,do you think if faced with pulling the trigger and taking a life in a split second you would/could do it? I know I could.....You meet up with the wrong person,your dog or mine is gone in a split second,do you run to the aid of your dog or shoot the intruder....My emotion comment to was not meant in a bad way,just that as Brian said,you don't need to spend that kind of money I'm sure Bill Gates does not have enough money to buy your dog or mineI respect your love and emotional bond between you and your dog.Just in a real real life situation,don't let that love cloud your judgement. Thanks guys!! Brian congrads on the pup!! I am thinking of going back to working lines myself in a year maybe obtaining a male pup. I have found too many blocks in the way for sombody here to actually get show mentors might as well stick with what I know I feel my showline girl is gorgeous but who am I to know at least I know what im doing with a working dog!! Hey Charlie I love your male maybe if you have a litter when I get ready id like to see em? We hope to go to the north for hunting next winter maybe we stop in lol!!! awww Charlie yall are so sweet thank you for the invite yes warmer weather is better for travel lol I live at the base of a mountain now and found out the snow piles extra deep here the clouds are trapped till they dump enough to lighten and go over!!! I was shocked you had black and red female lol i would love a pup now and the litter looks great but after buying the house Im tapped till save it up. Now youll probably tell me you have a bi color male or a black and red ill adore lol Ill have to send some pics of my girl im probablly biased but shes gorgeous and shes doing great she has started tracking well she has her basics going well she finally had that switch flip on upstairs couple weeks ago to have an attention span enough and want enough to please she is now focussed. Well have to get together maybe in the spring I would love to see your facilities and thank you for the gracious invite into your home.
