Hello I am writing this on behalf of my DEAR FRIEND , Erich Renner, who is at this time very ill, and courageously battling for his life. I ask, and implore his friends , past and present to contact me, so I may forward your email or address to him. He is using his energy to fight his illness, so please understand if he does not respond to all of your emails personally at this time. Hello "Lenny", Yes Erich is the ONLY American to ever own a Sieger before the dog actually became Sieger. He has been a member of the SV for over 50 years. More than that he is responsible, along with his wonderful wife Erna "Ana" for improving the lives of hundreds maybe thousands of lives for the blind and disabled ALL OVER THE WORLD. He began International Guiding Eyes and from there, traveled the world, teaching other countries to do same. He and his wife were very hands on in their training and organization and are beloved WORLDWIDE. This man has done SO MUCH for so many....now he needs our support and friendship. Erich Renner is one of THE great names in GSDs. A fine, fine man who for so many years has given his all for the GSD. The author of many, many tremendous articles on the GSD. Let us hope he recovers.

Hello German Shepherd Enthusiasts, Lenny and Victoria, there maybe one other that owned a dog before he went Seiger. It seems to me that Bart Chamberlain of Mobile, Alabama owned Hanko vd Hetschmuhle before he went Seiger. What do you think ecs
