Rickey missed out on all the attention and compliments Timo received throughout the weekend. He was quite the attraction. Looks like Timo may be headed for the World Universal Sieger competition. The team that placed 4th this year saw him, took an interest in him, and looks like they will be getting him in January to begin preparations at an early age. This is one outstanding puppy!

Speaking of success for the small guy. In second place behind Timo was another sable Waiko son Ish. It was Ish and owner Jeanie's first show too.

There was another first time show winner in the 3-6 females with a sable Waiko daughter. Maya had about 30 minutes of training before she went in the ring at a National event. She was called out in second and moved into first. She's a natural and was able to keep going through the remainder of the class to win.

I know there were more first time winners at the show. Rocco, winner in the 9-12 male was a first time show entry too.

Wow! Congratulations Timo & the other first time winners! What a wonderful accomplishment!

I guess I've always assumed that entering a NASS limited to those making a long & considered campaigne on behalf of their dog/pup. How exciting it is to hear of folks walking into the ring for the very first time & doing well!
