Been just looking thru here and came up with a question since I am looking to buy in the near future . Does anyone know of a fair price for a young female with a CD title. Maybe even with also a AD. Not too large and not too small. And of course, a good looking babe. Perfer in Texas. Close to Katy, Tx.
Thanks

$0-$25,000! Will she have a couple of bricks of gold?

I think more like $1000.00 to $3000.00
That would be a dog at least 1 1/2 years old for CD. Several hundred dollars in training and a whole lot of patience and know how.

That sounds about right! Maybe $1000.00 more with other expenses.

It is also going to depend on the bloodline. I am sure that the more Champions the more $$.

"$1000 to $3000" (or possibly more) is the cost of a puppy. Why would a trainer put hundreds of hours into a CD or BH for $300? What about hips/ Elbows/ Shots/ registration/shipping/ and especially board and care for a dog for 1 1/2 years? If you find a titled dog for $1000 or $3000 then ask your self why the dog is so cheap and why they are selling the dog.

Ok, so I should just do the work myself? Lets say I buy a babe for $1000.00. How much more would I spend on training? I checked in my area and I got a quote for $600.00 basic obedience and another 4-6 hundred for advanced. So that would be $2200.00 on the high side so far. Then food, care, shots,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,wow...... it goes on and on and on. I better just win the lotto.

around here to have a professional trainer to board and train, its $400 a week. training starts at about 6 weeks and a dog may attain sch 3 at 30 months or so. puppies are not cheap, titled dogs souldn't be cheap either. if you come across a titled dog for only $,500, find out why its being offered for such a low price before you buy a big bit of heart break and trouble.
