As Christopher said it best, one that is a good TEACHER will be the best for you to start with. Being still new myself the hardest hurdle is being taught.; it takes patience for a trainer to take a totally green person by the hand and not all trainers are equipped to do that effectively.
You can take any of the above mentioned, place a good working dog in their hands and they can make magic happen that you yourself will scratch you head wondering why you're dog won't work that way for you. It's essential to have someone teach you the step by step fundamentals, explain what you will be doing before you are expected to do it, show you how to do it the correct way, teach you how to read your dog and give you confidence by staying positive. Having the right dog for you that you "click" with helps a little too. Setting small realistic short term goals will help you stay motivated and the personal reward is greater as you and the trainer feel a sense of accomplishment regardless how small or large it may be.
Where are you located?

For me one of the very best trainers is Rinus Bastiaansen of Belgium
Not only is he a breeder of top class dogs and 110% genuine,
He is the Belgian team ScHh Captain. He travels all over the world from the USA to Australia and Canada and New Zealand to Malaysia, Training people and there Dogs, doing seminars, He is a world renowened ScHh Judge, and has Judges Competitions all over rthe World
For me he is the most dedicated person i have known in the sport, and with a way with people and Dogs which makes them relax instantly,

Nobody's thought to mention Ronny van den Berghe? He's only won the WUSV three times in the past ten years.

If we all put the concerns of our dogs first with proper trainig and an open mind we can all be the best we can be with our dogs. And support each oter as we would like to be supported.
