Importing Puppy, Germany to Atlanta, GA - Page 1

I'm planning on importing a puppy from Germany.  Before I book a flight for my husband to go over and pick the puppy up, I wanted to see if anyone was flying from Germany to Atlanta, GA in the next couple of weeks that could bring the puppy with them.

What part of Germany? Quite a few are going over for the Klubshow in August.

Breeder is closest to Munich but could transport to Frankfurt.

Perhaps you can talk to Nadia of "von oher Tannen" or Yuliya of "von Lotta" kennels. Both ladies live in GA and import dogs and puppies themselves. Also, if you don't have any personal contacts, you should hire a broker to make sure that you are actually getting the puppy you think and to help you handle getting a health certificate for travel, shipping, registration papers, and other paperwork. Its worth it if you can avoid the many pitfalls of importing a puppy and the disappointments and frustrations.
