That was a lot of useful information. Thanks so much for the detailed responses!

Once we get a puppy, I do plan on entering the info here.

One of the things the Czech Kennel Club could usefully adopt is the German habit of listing the other littermates' names in a box on the Registration Document / 'pink paper'. I have seen this done on UK paperwork in recent years too, it is helpful.

Hundmutter, CMKU do list the littermates on the pedigree.

Thanks Hukka - that didn't seem to feature with what I was seeing on the OPs links. Glad to hear it though !

Hundmutter, If you look at the link to the pedigree on the breeders site, you can see the littermates listed on both sire and dam. CMKU has done that for a long time. They even list titles, surveys and hip/elbows for the littermates when available.

Now looking through what PDB DOES have on this family of dogs, we can research through 'siblings' record (see button on pedigree page) that Koffi has the same date of birth as Khaleesi (3rd October 2015); you may have already spotted that. You have the papers for Khaleesi, so you can see if Registration numbering is consistent / consecutive ? (Koffi has reg number CMKU DS/100687/15. *) So other pups in that litter are very likely to have numbers corresponding in sequence to ( before or after ) that one, due to being Registered with the appropriate Kennel organisation at the same time - and if they are not, smell a rat.

Thanks again for such a detailed reply. Part of my problem is this is my first attempt at reading German pedigrees/Czech papers so I don't really "know" what I am doing. I "think" I do so your post is very helpful.

I have found what appears to be 3 full siblings. Khaleesi, Koffi, and Kendi (Bohemia Jites).

For Khaleesi, all I have a photo of the pink paper pedigree and the abroad confirmation. There is no record of her on PDB or WD. The Pedigree number is CMKU/DS/100687/15, The tattoo number is 58816, and the chip number is 900079000376226.

For Koffi, I have no physical documentation. There is a pedigree on PDB but there are is no identification data, The birthdate matches Khaleesi. On WD, there is a pedigree and a full sibling listed, Kendi.

For Kendi, I have no physical documentation. There is no pedigree on PDB. On WD, there is a pedigree, also with a matching birthdate. Kendi Pedigree # on WD is CMKU/DS 58814, but that doesn't seem to match the format. HOWEVER, 58814 is 2 numbers off of the tattoo number 58816 which is listed for Khaleesi as noted above.

I have spent more time in the last 2 weeks learning about dog pedigrees than I know about my own :)

What is the format of the CMKU #? what does that tell me? I "know" the DS is German Shepherd, but I don't know what the numbers behind it are telling me like a date, breeder or what.

Hukka has confirmed for you that these 2 are indeed littermates, (plus the 3rd dog) and that their Reg numbers and tats are in sequence. So whatever the breeder did to confuse the web entries, and given that Hukka probably knows more about Czech practises than I ever will, I think you should concentrate now on making sure the AKC registration entries are correct for Khaleesi, and that you have all the paperwork on her that you as the new owner should have, since the litter was apparently Registered in the States. That would explain why you only have " a photocopy of the pink paper "; it seems that you are in the US, your dog is in the US, and she is Registered in the US. For most purposes you will need to produce papers for, these will be US papers anybody wants to see, I suspect.

Maybe Hukka or someone will be able to tell you more about the CMKU structure, for historical interest. Best of luck with her, I hope you get everything as straight as you need, and have an excellent future with your dog.
