Last knight i saw POTUS in a conference with young conservatives. He started to say that he knows windmills better than anyone.

Then he went on to say that wind energie farms produce toxic fumes and kills all birds. That you will find a bird graveyard at the base of these windmills.

On an other occasion at a rally when bragging about rolling back regulation on incandescent light bulbs, he also said that the noise windmills produce cause cancer.

I really don't care about politics one bit but i do care about the environment. And when i hear that the EPA is shredding all regulations on endangered species, i wonder what is going on in USA.

So I don't think you will get any sensible answers to that question from Don(ald) Quixhote ! This is the POTUS who knows 'nothing about wind' but 'all about windmills' - except that they are turbines, windMILLS are those things they used to grind flour ...

Sadly, and much as I hate to admit it, The Donald did have something of a correct point; there is at least one authentic wildlife survey that shows higher death rates for both birds and bats in the vicinity of turbines. Always something that makes alrernative energy production less than perfect !

I deliberately said POTUS because i really don't care about the individual.  I care about the position, when broadcasting false information.

Wind turbines kill far less birds than other manmade installations.  Like strikes to building glass, power line electrocutions and collisions, fossil fuel energy plants, and massive oil spills and pesticides.

Alternative ernergy is not perfect and will never be, at least it combats climate change witch eventually will kill all birds if left unchecked.

Oh yeah, its a trade-off. Merely bemoaning the fact that there always seems to be. BTW you left airplane windscreen strike and engine suck-ins off your list. It would be great if someone could come up with a 'perfect', or near-perfect, option - but somehow I doubt there is enough investment going into finding those.

I work in the electrical utility industry, and we had a good laugh watching the different versions of the same speech, with each one having different 'statistics'.
