I remember here in Holland many many IPO  breeders   wouldn,t use Lübeck because they don,t like that showlines in his pedigree.... So In KNPV there were some good solid offspring from Lübeck over different females. It,s not always that hardcore workinglines 10 dogs back in the pedigree that will produce well  that is absolut a mythe and nonsensWink Smile

The devil is in the details.....lol, if you really analyze the SL female you will see that the male bloodlines go through Jeck and Mats, ( Jeck produced some of the best temperament in SL in past thirty years, though you had to keep eye out for hips), but you have to dissect the motherlines of the sire and dam of this SL female. They quickly go back to older SL dogs of past that still worked and were gradually phased out as traditional SL dogs in Germany( like the strong Mutz dominated lines).
This female is not reflective of the traditional SL of today.
Susie, please correct me on what I have gotten wrong on this pedigree.

so lubeck is out of 25% showline (jeck), now please give me 5 other KNPV dogs bred over showlines, or top IPO dogs over showlines

Nothing wrong - a couple of knowledgable people used a couple of showlines able to work.

This is why I'm going to aquire Lubeck Semen to breed to him. He's the type of breeding that my father would have done.

As a matter of fact, he's done a very similar breeding. Wotan is one of them. Happy's mother is Love vom Lauerhof and is a Showline female.
Same with Asko Siegelgrund (I will get semen from him too). His mother is Dora vom Schrebergarten, which is a Showline as well.
It didn't just produce Asko. It also produced Basko, Balu, Garfield and Gismo (Garfield was my sisters dog who was phenomenal) and Gismo came over to the US, so did Asko.

I know a few people that said Lubeck is pure prey, I can hardly believe that this combination, with that much Orly would only produce prey. And if he is, the genetics are there, they just have to be put over the right female. If you breed a dog like Lubeck to a very strong female, you should be getting some seriously nice dogs. And I am pretty sure that I've got the right genetics and combination for it.

like kicking in an open door, most good males, if bred to a very strong female will produce some seriously nice dogs,
