Stud dogs are a dime a dozen ... you should already know that if you can call yourself a breeder. Establish a strong female line and then you can pick from the available males that compliment your females. IPO has little to do with breeding good GSD. If you want good dogs look to Czech and ring sport GSD ... don't be conned by IPO BS .... the winners in the world IPO championships are primarily Mals ... even from Germany.

Student and Koots answered your question - in case you want to participate in IPO, join several IPO clubs, look at the different dogs out of different lines.
Afterwards visit breeders training and titling their own breeding stock, because only people who actually train and title know what they are doing...
Forget about DDR, Czech, WGW lines, and any other nonsense like colour, just care about the dogs in front of you.
First of all a puppy is the genetic result of sire and dam, not more, not less.
Any "label" like DDR , Czech, WGWL, won´t help, in case the parents didn´t inherit the necessary drives to do the job.
Good luck ( and never forget: within IPO only a titled and breed surveyed dog is suitable for breeding ...)

Go to the FCI IPO World Championships sites and see which breeds and teams are winning. The Mals are the breed dominating the real IPO world championships. I am not a fan of the IPO game but don't develop a breeding program for GSD based on IPO results ... it is a dead end.
