Hi everyone:
I belong to a yahoo group for EPI dog owners. My dog Maya ( same name different pup )has EPI and is just fine. This pup came to my attention as someone on my group adopted her but had to return her as he has other dogs and this pup would have to be an only dog. There is a video of her. He said she is a lovely girl. Playful, happy, loving etc  except not good with other dogs. I am just sharing this in case anyone is looking for a female spayed shepherd, She does have EPI but it is under control, with enzymes from enzyme diane.com. My dog is now almost three and as normal as can be.
I just wanted to share this with anyone that is looking for a German Shepherd and would give her a good home. She has been up for adoption for 6 months now and is desperately seeking a loving home. Thanks

Anyone who adopts an EPI dog is NOT an idiot, but a kind, caring person! Teeth Smile

Sorry I can't help. I already have 3 dogs, one of which would do much better as an only dog!  Confused Smile

Can you post a link to the video? What is her pedigree/lines?

She needs to gain some weight, she needs some lovin', she needs a home for Christmas.  EPI is no more difficult to look after than a dog with allergies. You have to watch what they eat and add enzymes to their food. Because they never seem to get overweight, you don't have the hip issues to deal with or arthritis as much.My Maya weighs over 90 pounds now, she is not skinny. She is pleasantly plump, just perfect.
