She is safe- we pulled her and took her to our rescue.  She may  stay forever,as it ws love at first sight for Julie's granddaughter and lucy. They slept cuddled up last night, together,in bed, and Katia announced that Lucy told her she didnt want to be adopted out or to have a different family. She wanted to stay with them.. LOL! LOL!

LOL- if Julie ever tries to adopt out Lucy, I would hate to  think of the tears that would ensue. I would say the term *inseperable* about sums it all up. I have to say that Loretta from this shelter was INCREDIBLE! She knew we were interested in pulling Lucy. The shelter got very crowded so she got Lucy out to a foster SHE found, just in time! Loretta met our transporter at the shelter when the shelter was closed, on her own time, whe n we were able to arrange transport! Can you imagine how many more lives would be saved if all the  people who worked at shelters were like Loretta! What a delight to work with and she is truly a caring person- it is NOT just a *job* to her...

Update:
Katia had to go back home because she has school. Lucy spent the night, last night, sleeping cuddled up with Julie, in bed. A wise little fur kid- if you cant be with the one you love, honey, love the one you're with ;) Katia did tell Julie, the last night she slept over, that if the bed was too crowded, with Lucy in it, that Julie could sleep on the couch!!!! ROFLMAO!
