75% malinois 25% czech wolfdog
Or
75% malinois 25% pitbull with high drive

Neither

Why ruin the mal?

OK I bit and will answer this stupid question.

Czech wolfdog, originally a military experiment, is now a Euro novelty. And yes, I have seen an Italian import with an experienced IPO trainer. And for Pitbull, they are not the greatest for man work, they are either game dogs or show dogs. And yes, I train with a guy who titles them in PSA and he has problems finding good blood for man work.

White trash hillbilly cross. ....puppashiter with pitopooper sound about perfect!

I would not do either.

At least the Mal/ pit would give you something along the lines of a Donovan Pincher. The wolfdog/Mal would probably run or be a fear biter. Wolves do not make good guard dogs. Do mess up decades of hard work and good breeding with ugly fads.

The malinois/pit combination has been done...some of those dogs competed in the KNPV back in the day, before the ban of pit like breeds. If you have the right combination, it can make for a great dog, all the attributes of a good malinois and the gameness of the pit.

"Gameness of the Pit"  Are we trying to kill the others dogs? I have only seen a few APBT make good protection dogs and looked for years. There is to much animal aggression bred in to be very trust worthy.

Paul..

Gameness is not a quality used in dog fighting only, it is also a word used to describe a dog's desire to stay in battle with a human/helper/suspect.  The "tenacity", do you like that word better, is the reason they bred pits to Malinois, NOT because they are trying to kill any dogs.

by Paul Garrison on 04 January 2013 - 14:01

Here we go again.
Just how much animal aggression do you want in the dog?
"tenacity"  Now that is a can of worms on this fourm. LOL

Personally, I have zero interest in any animal aggression, it does not serve my needs. I am also positive that the people who did those breedings did not want their dogs to be animal aggressive either.
Let's see, you did not like "gameness", you did not like "tenacity"...how about dauntless, determined, spirit, testicular fortitude...are these ok?
