Ok here he is in all his glory!
He is awesome!
Sarge's history according to the Animal Shelter..

Animal control was called back in March about a pup that had been left. Aco went to the dwelling and found him. Sarge was retrieved from a back yard. It is believed the owners were incarcerated, that is just theory. Sarge was only at the shelter for a few days and he was adopted. He remained in his adopted home until the first week of nov when his owners returned him to the shelter.  They were moving to an apartment and couldnt take him. They said he is not good with large dogs but is fine with small dogs and he will chase cats. According to them he loves kids and is housebroke. Shelter believes his age is now 12-14 months.

He readily crates and loads up when told. He craves attention. He has been home now for maybe about an hour and so far we have discovered that someone has taught him some basic ob. He will sit, lay down ( spinx position), Loves the toys , will go get the ball everytime double quick, drops it at your feet or in your hand, when you say watch his eyes dont leave the toy or ball no matter the distraction ( even tugging his tail lol) He is very mouthy when trying to play. He looks right at you when you are talking to him like he is trying to figure out what is being said and he has no problem looking you in the eye. He definately needs to get to Mel and start some work, he is eager for it! the sooner the better, my nephew is begging me to keep him and I told him in no uncertain terms NO! He already has a home, is just waiting on a ride.
Oh yea, he still squats to pee and is neutered lol He appears to understand Sitz, Aus, Platz I havent tried any others. He definately LOVES the tug and buddy lemme tell ya he is hella strong! My wrists hurt from him jerking the tug side to side, not really trying to get it away from me but playing.

Oh yea.. When we were outside my nephew started his dirt bike across the yard and Sarge never flinched or paid attention to it other than glancing at it. It is very loud and backfires alot lol he has been working on it. I walked Sarge a little closer and he was hesitant but didnt pause, walked up near it, didnt try to bolt or anything.

You are an Angel!

I'm trying to work out a reduced price obedience program for the local human population to raise funds for Sarge's
transport and if I can get enough together, Marjorie's CA girl also. I have a few bites so far... going to meet a couple
on Sat.... usually we're in the Christmas parade driving our M35a2, BUT Sarge is more important. I'm also meeting
with another couple over the next few days also. Keep your fingers crossed all goes as planned. I'm willing to work
for my donations! LOL

I think Mel is going to be pleasantly surprised by this  little gem. Put a little polish on his OB and wow he would go far!. He definately has Ob training on him and unfortunately I dont have the experience to really put him thru his paces. I need to research more or have Mel tell me what commands she wants me to try lol I did a little vid of his ob today but it was after having him retrieve the toy and work the tug.. he was pretty wore out. Lots of distractions, we were at the park which was very busy with children playing ball, running and screaming, squirrels scamering around the grounds, people with their dogs playing frisbee... He did wonderful tho... oh yea, my mom was eating some church's chicken and since Sarge hadnt eaten yet the smell was pretty distracting as well lol I didnt think of videoing it  at the beginning, I have never used my phone for a cam lol
Once Melissa has a chance to view it I will post it if anyone wants to see it, its just a little snippet, kinda hard to hold this huge phone ( galaxy Note) throw a tug and stay coordinated lol I couldnt see the screen, it was to bright out lol

Here he is, not the best vid ever but nice dog for sure :)  http://youtu.be/NR9x2dU20Wo
