I can take one of the girls and that top boy. I've got one kennel open and I can set another temp kennel up for the second. Hopefully
neither are chain link eaters. I've got time and space, credit with my vet if need be, but with Christmas coming quick and 3 kiddos who
what "stuff", I've got nothing to put toward pulling or transport.

Is there anything we can put together to get them here? I can create a chip-in acct and I have a paypal acct. I would hate to take money
though if they don't ultimately come here, although it could easily be spent on another rescue.

Thanks Melissa .  You usually take the high drive ones, right?   I'll see if someone can do an eval.    --------  it is all good Shandra.   Goal is to get them good homes.

Shandra, you're absolutely right, he does look ready for IT.. and the ball next to him is an excellent sign LOL I'd like to bet
they had a second ball in hand.

Yup, usually take the high drive ones, difficult to place, too much dog for the average home. I have more access to someone
looking for a high drive dog then I do looking for pet homes. It is SO ironic that is name is also Sarge, as was the boy pulled
from Beckley, WV .

woohoo!! finally got thru.
They dont have much info on Sarge other than he is in shelter due to the owners moving into an apartment.  His cage has my name on it for pull tomorrow. Andrea, is who I spoke with, she said she believes he is 1-1 1/2 yrs old. I dont know if they will give the former owner my info  to call me or if I can get theirs to try to get a little more info about him. Guess I will have an extra guest for Thanksgiving lol

Oh Shandra, that is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!! Thank you SO much!!!!!

I *think* he is going to make a nice working dog, especially with him being so young and looks to be driven!

Should I set up a chipin acct for his transport?

Yea that would be a good idea.
I asked Andrea what would be required for the pull and she said just bring whatvever paperwork I had on hand and that  should suffice for no adoption fee. She said they dont charge rescues adoption fees. Well I am not affiliated with a rescue any longer so that is going to be a gray area. Whatever tho.. if there is an adoption fee I will pay it. She wasnt sure if he were neutered or not. I asked her if he were not neutered how long it would taketo get done s I could pull him, she said neutering wouldn't be required to pull him, that it was up to me if I were to get him neutered?? Thats different. I am thinking that may be something to do with a rescue affiliation, not sure. The main thing she wanted to accomplish was to get him out of there and someplace where he had a chance at a home. She said he is in the Lavendar Room whatever that is . She had no assessments on him. You can probably call and see if you can get more info if you want. I explained the pull and where he would be going and for what purpose. She seemed thrilled.

Ok, done, though I accidentially posted it in the All Breed section grrr....

The one transport company is fairly inexpensive, but they require all dogs being transported to be neutered. Let me see what I can find out.
