kitkat, thanks for getting the facts straight from the shelter...I was pretty sure the retired K9 part wasn't going to hold up to scrutiny, but that doesn't make her any less deserving of somebody to love her for the rest of her natural days. I didn't think the photo was taken @ the shelter--thought it was more likely a picture of her after someone caught her and was holding her until animal control came for her or they could take her to them... Glad to hear that she's spoken for by a TX rescue group and will be out of harm's way by Wednesday.
