Cute baby tiger. I just love d cat family. Expecting grizzly too? What do u do with them, wanna start a mini zoo? At one year, do u still play with d tiger without secretly being armed. Wow, what a fullfilling life you're living! Cheers.

Well the tiger is not mine. It belongs to a non wild and exotic animal rescue group that I volunteer for. Most of their animals are rescued from people who buy them online thinking they can tame them and have them for pets. Several are abused and diseased from not being cared for properly. I give them five hundred dollars and get to name the animal go play with it when ever I like, (I can only play with it until it is 12 weeks old) After that they are quite dangerous. I also send them as much food, formula, and housing material as I can.

The park has to breed the animals unfortunatly, so that they can recieve government grants to house and feed them. They send most of the baby's to other country and breeding programs that are trying to keep them from being extinct. The baby's that are sponsord get to stay here and become part of a magic show that teaches kids not to buy exotic animals, do drugs, or drink and drive. We have several of Michael Jacksons animals too. They have 175 big cats, 3 grizzly bears, several black bear, 2 heyenahs, several species of monkey, birds, porkypines, wolves, alligators, snakes, including an aniconda.

When I volunteer I get to feed and clean all the cages, bottle feed all the babies, and take customers on tours through out the park and tell them about each individual animal.

Mine too. I never realized exactly how big he was until I seen that picture. Everyone who sees him says "wow he is huge and I've never seen one that big'". For so long I just look at him and seen my puppy.

He is doing so great with his training. He will stand off leash in a stay command while I walk off 300 feet from him until I call him. He'd probably go further but I get tired of walking. He loves to run to  me when I call him from that distance. When he gets to me his favorite treat is to give me a high five and a kiss on the cheek.

He heels off leash as we walk now too. For the last few days we have worked on stop, left, and right. He picked up on it quickly, so I tried it off leash and he did great walking through the poles. I have to walk with him for it to work, but I would like him to get to where he does it on command with out me beside him like I have seen those border collies do.

He has the leave it command down. Yesterday we did our first meet and greet with another white shepherd he had never seen before, after ward, we let them play together. He did excellent!! I was so proud of him. Today we are going to do another meet and greet with a smaller dog that is fluffy. I have faith that he is going to do great there too.

Tuesday I am taking him to a professional trainer who has agreed to give me a personal training session, which she usually don't do, because she runs a boarding school for dogs and likes to keep them for 3 weeks. I can't see what else she could train my dog, he already does everything that she has on her list of expertise, besides her magic rug (which I have something simular we use) agility training and hunting . Which those are totally separate from her obedience.

We do have a slight problem area that hasn't gone on for too long, but I can keep it under control.I still need a little help and want to set up the situation in a safe area where I have help to correct the situation properly.  That is if we see a stray dog off leash with out an owner near by, he wants to jet for them. He is not barking or growling at them. He just wants to chase them away and the fact that they usually run from him, doesn't help the situiation. When this happens during our walks or training session I have to use the e-collar, which works and he stops, but I always end up having to leave the situation and we load up in the car and go back home, because if he stops stomping his feet at them they come walking back towards us and I'm not sure what will happen if they get too close to us. Most of those stray dogs run in packs of two and three. I don't want to be any where near them either. I need to know what to do when this happens because it sucks that we have to leave after ward. Our pound guy sucks and I don't get a long with him that well and hate calling him. When stray dogs are laying in the street sun bathing, he just drives around them. That is what I get living in a small town. I thought about getting some mace and spraying the dogs if they get too close, but then there is a lot of risk to that too.
