Advise for me please! - Page 2

OK, thats some good information. I was told by my vet to feed her the puppy food. I was also told by my vet that you can not worm the mother until the pups were four weeks old. I actually have some digital scales and the pups all ranged from 3.9 to 4lbs. Is that a good weight for them at 3 weeks old. They look really healthy and just learned to run today. Its kinda funny because they'll take off and then fall down. ive never seen puppies learning to walk. They ate twice today and did really well Marley seems to be rested and content now too. I feel so stupid for breeding my dogs. I have learned so much now. Now i see adds in news paper and reconize all the back yard breeders, which is all of them. I read there adds, about their "champion blood lines" look up their dogs if i can and see the truth. I thought my dogs were good enough to breed, because the breeder i got them from explained to me that they were, and since she had like 20 of them and had been breeding for 30 years. I trusted what she said. She held my hand all the way through this and even picked which dogs i should breed. she even told me not to get there hips checked, because it doesnt even mean anything for the puppies. Alot of people i talk to, have no idea about backyard breeders. They know more about puppy mills. This litter has a purpose. because it, i have learned and the 6 people i sale these puppies to with limited registration will also learn my lesson from me before they go home with their new puppy. And everyone who tells me they are thinking about breeding, will learn it to. I've already stopped two people from breeding. THank you.

My girl at between 3 and 4 weeks said that was enough of the teeth,she would only go in to socialize and teach no more nursing, she too was a bit rough but 9 males I guess she had too.She they started trying to take them out to dad , but I did allow him to come around at 3 weeks with caging between her and him.At first she tried to attack ,he just layed down by them and she settled down,a few days latter I tried one outside with the two of them and the love feast was on .Dad got parenting from them on. Not to say that is the way it will always go,and I trust Mom,what she says goes I dont question her instincts.
